John K. Donkor.
John is an employment, labour, and human rights lawyer, drawing on several years of experience having practiced with a boutique human resources consulting firm, Canada's largest law firm specializing in human resources law, as well as a national law firm. John is also well-known in the education sector for his extensive work in school boards.
An experienced workplace investigator, John has conducted investigations in a variety of public sector and private sector contexts. On the public sector end, John frequently conducts investigations in K-12 education, post-secondary institutions, municipal and policing. In the private sector, John has conducted investigations in a multitude of industries, including, but not limited to, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, creative arts and aviation.
John was called to the bar in Ontario in 2006, having obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University. While in law school, John was awarded the Vincent Principi Memorial Award in Labour Law. Prior to law school, John completed his undergraduate studies at Western University.
Outside of the law, John is an avid sports fan, as well as a motorcycle and fitness enthusiast.
